Good decks aren't made of just random cards. Most decks focus on on archtype. An example of an archtype in Yu-Go-Oh is the main characters deck Dark magicaian.An archtype is made by focus on one card in your deck to get out and support easily. Cards that support that supports that one card is usally part of that archtype.
Some of the famous archtypes out there now are from the character from the manga or anime. One example is th blue-eyes white dragon. Its most likely has the most support for it. Another example is that is the dark magician archtype. There are way too many archtypes out there to keep count of. Archtypes can make a deck so much better than just putting random cards into a single deck. Its also recommeded to keep your deck at 40 cards.
