Summoning

There are 2 differnt type of summoning. normal summoning and special summoning. Normal summoning you can only do once per turn with out special reqiurments. Special summoning you can do a infinitely per turn. Special summoning reqiures conditions to be met per monster. Special summoning is also when you summon a monster from the extra deck.

Tributes

Tribute summoning is normal summoning but summoning a higher level monster. Higher level monster have more powerful states and or effects.

Traps and Spells

You can use one spells with same name once per turn. You can use spells as much as you want. You can place traps and spells face down and be able to use them during the oppients turn. Traps can't be used on the same turn. Traps cant be used like spells. They must be put on the field then can be used during the oppients or your next turn. Spells and traps may have certian conditions to be active.

Phases

A player has 4000, or 8000 Lp. A duel has 6 phases. draw phase where the player draws a card from the top of the deck. standby phase is where certian effect or traps can be activated. Main phase where you normal summon, special summoning, place or active spells, place traps and activate monster cards. battle phases where you attack other monsters and if the player doesn't have any monsters then you attack directly. The monster that attacks a monster with lower attack stat, that left over damage goes the player with lower attack monster. A monster thats in defense mode compares the attack state of the attacking monster and the defense stat of the denfensing monster. If a defending monster is destroyed, neigher player takes damege. Some cards have piercing which then damage will be dealt to the defensive monster owner. Another main phase or main phase 2 is another phase where you do things that you left during the 1 main phase. end phase then to the next playes turn.

Beginning a duel

Starting a duel, each player shuffles the deck and draw 5 cards from the top of the deck. Flip a coin to decide who goes first. The first player doesn't draw a card. Once player 1 is done, player 2 draws a card and starts their turn.
