The actor for the military leader. David Russell Strathairn was born on January 26, 1949 in San Francisco, California. Strathairn attended Williams College, where he demonstrated great interest in the theatre, and first befriended John Sayles, with whom he would later frequently collaborate.

Chandler was born in Buffalo, New York, the fourth child of Edward Chandler, a pharmaceutical sales representative, and his wife, Sally Jeanette (née Meyer), a dog breeder. Chandler made his film debut in one of the key roles in the 1992 George Strait film, Pure Country. From 1991 to 1993, he had a series regular role as Cleveland Indians right fielder Jeff Metcalf in the ABC series Homefront, a drama set in the post-World War II era in the fictional town of River Run, Ohio.[18] Homefront ran for two seasons, with Chandler appearing in all 42 episodes. He plays as the main characters farther in the Godzilla.

Some of his highest-profile roles are Tywin Lannister in HBO's Game of Thrones (2011–2015), Karellen in Syfy's Childhood's End (2015), Guy Perron in The Jewel in the Crown (1984), Sardo Numspa in The Golden Child (1986), Dr. Jonathan Clemens in Alien 3 (1992), Benedict in Last Action Hero (1993), the Master Vampire in Dracula Untold (2014), Lord Havelock Vetinari in Terry Pratchett's Going Postal (2010), Alastair Denniston in The Imitation Game (2014), Emperor Emhyr var Emreis in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (2015), and William Randolph Hearst in David Fincher's Mank (2020). Most recently, he portrayed Lord Mountbatten in the third and fourth seasons of The Crown.

Aisha Jamila Hinds (born November 13, 1975) is an American television, stage and film actress. She had supporting roles in a number of television series, include The Shield, True Blood, Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. In 2016, she played Fannie Lou Hamer in biographical drama film All the Way. She has also appeared in Assault on Precinct 13 (2005) and was cast as Harriet Tubman in WGN America period drama Underground. Hinds currently stars in the Fox procedural drama series 9-1-1.
